Business confidence bounced back after four years of record lows, AmCham Shanghai said in its annual China Business Report, with 58% of respondents optimistic about the five-year outlook in China, up 17 percentage points from 2025. Some 78% of companies were profitable in 2025, the highest rate since 2019.
